傳承 Penfolds 釀酒工藝的酒莊 –
酒莊於1988年在南澳聞名世界的明星級產區之一Coonawarra，由莊主Kym Tolley所創立，是澳洲名莊Penfolds奔富家族的元老分支。莊主凱姆的出身是當地著名兩個釀酒世家 – 奔富家族(The Penfolds)和托雷思家族(The Tolleys)的直系第五代，為了紀念和傳承家族事業，凱姆取自奔富家族姓氏「Penfold」的前三個字和自己家族姓氏「Tolley」的後三個字，來作為自己酒莊的名字「Penley」，現在Penfolds酒莊仍有部分高階酒款的葡萄原料是向Penley酒莊收購。
葡萄園總面積111公頃，表層土壤是紅壤土、而底層則是石灰岩。避免過多桶味掩蓋葡萄自然醇美風味，酒莊精選紋理細密的橡木桶來釀製。

Penley Estate’s winemaking tradition started back in 1988 when its owner Kym Tolley started this business. He wanted to use his own contemporary ideas and his family’s traditional techniques for creating some wines.
At Penley Estate, the winemakers still follow a traditional method in combination with modern techniques for making wines. While touring the facility, you will also get a chance to interact with the winemakers and watch them in action. Penley Estate’s owners and families are committed in producing the finest wines for their clients.
The vineyard predominantly has cabernet sauvignon in addition to cabernet franc, merlot, and Shiraz, pinot noir, chardonnay, and pinot munier. When you visit their cellar door, you will be surprised to find a wide variety of premium wines for tasting. The vineyard’s rich terra rossa soil, sunny location, and perfect climatic conditions altogether result in high-quality grape production.

The female clad label on this wine is both elegant and fierce, a reflection of the rock star team of women responsible for the liquid inside. This wine walks a deft line between power and restraint, layering flavors of plush dark berries with graphite, mint, bay leaf, black olive and earthy spice. The palate is linear and tightly knit with chalky tannins that lend length and complexity. Drink now–2040.
